I finally finished my robot book and got a few copies printed for the upcoming spring conferences. My Sedona picture on the cover with all the red rocks in the background really makes the robot look like it is on Mars (in my opinion). Unfortunately, I've already found two mistakes, so it's a good thing these are only draft copies.
I had so much fun making my sister's collage picture that I wanted to make one for myself. I originally planned to make almost a duplicate layout, but then decided with such a heavy oak frame, I'd keep it simple. I've had these frames forever. Years ago we bought 3 of them at an auction, so Bruce stripped off the old varnish and cleaned it up for me. I ended up not putting on a glass cover, because the collage elements stick out too far - lots of flowers, gears, keys, etc. Besides when it gets too dusty in a couple years, I'll just make a new one.
