Remember when the Wicked Witch of the West said that famous line at the end of the
Wizard of Oz? Well that's what it's finally starting to do around here. Yesterday I walked over to my dentist appointment. The dentist is only a few blocks from our house, but I didn't realize how slick the sidewalks still were. That's ice, not snow, in the photo above. Today we walked over to the grocery store and the ice was practically gone. It's only in the lower 40's, but it almost feels balmy compared to the frigid temperatures we've been having. Maybe spring is finally on the way.
