I'm well on my way to earning my next FitBit badge after making 5 trips down to the basement every time the tornado sirens went off. What a crazy day. During one of my basement banishments, the storm trackers pinpointed one of those little sickle-shaped storm cells coming right through our neighborhood. It must have made the national news, because we got several follow-up phone calls from friends and relatives. But the next day, except for lots of mud puddles and a few drooping flowers, you could hardly tell the storm had raged all day. Too bad we can't ship a little of this rain out to California.
