We finally got a few nice days weather-wise... not too cold or hot and no rain. So we hopped in the car and went for a hike in Meramec State Park. Since it's not quite Memorial Day yet, we had the trail all to ourselves. I like this park, because it's got a hiking trail in the shape of a figure 8. If you hike the first loop, it's a 6-mile hike. If you add the second loop, it's a 10-mile hike. So far I've never made it around the second loop, but one of these days I'll get ambitious and try it... maybe.
