While I was off teaching my summer workshop, Mr Fix-it built a new gate into the backyard. It matches the new fencing on the other side of the house, but makes the neighbor's fence between our yards look terrible. He also stripped and painted all the trimwork on the back porch. Next project is replacing the hand railing that is rotting away. Always something.
