Branson Workshop

I headed down to Branson for the ISEA conference. Most of the people who attend this workshop are either elementary or middle school teachers or college students who are going to become elementary or middle school teachers. I gave a couple workshops during the conference showing them how to do some fun projects like build a solar cooker and an insulated travel mug, though I think the big favorite was running the toy cars down a ramp into the crash barriers.
When the conference was over, Bruce and I headed down to Mount Magazine State Park in Arkansas. Mount Magazine is the highest point in Arkansas - quite the claim-to-fame for the locals, but not quite the breathtaking views like we had in the Alps. But it gave Bruce enough of a challenge to practice for his upcoming Grand Canyon hike.
