Wedding in Wichita

I went to a wedding this weekend in Wichita and got to see a lot of cousins that I haven't seen in a very long time. They sure grow them tall in Kansas. (I'm the midget in the back row.)
My cousin's daughter, Whitney, was the bride. She married a computer geek, named Adam, who's really into gaming. The groom's cake was in the shape of an X-box, and the DJ played the theme from Star Wars when they cut the cake. Too bad I didn't get a shot of Whitney from behind so you could see the giant tattoo on her back between her shoulder blades.
Whitney's little boy, Jude, was the ring bearer. He started out nicely leading the 4 flower girls down the aisle, but when he looked over his shoulder and noticed they were throwing flower petals on the ground, he started getting upset that they were dirtying the floor. He got the girls so confused that they actually started picking up the petals that they'd just dropped.
Violet seemed much more interested in what was going on behind her rather than the wedding ceremony in front. Her mother gave her some crackers to get her to turn around. Luckily she shared a few with me, so my stomach would stop growling (the wedding started late and I hadn't had lunch yet).
When the ceremony was over, we all went outside to blow bubbles on the bride and groom as they passed by to their limo. Violet couldn't quite get the hang of the bubble blower. She kept sucking in, rather than blowing out.
While the groom's cake was in the shape of an X-box, the bride's cake was a very beautiful traditional tiered cake. The only strange part about it was the cake topper showing the bride dragging the groom by his foot. Kind of unique, I guess. Each one of the tiers was a different cake flavor - chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. They also had a dessert table with all kinds of dippers to go into chocolate sauce, including marshmallows, strawberries, pretzels, and potato chips (I guess potato chips and chocolate are a Kansas delicacy).
I got to wear my new outfit I bought at the outlet mall. Bruce wore a tie, but he took it off at the reception, because half the relatives were wearing jeans.
My aunt is the one who lives down at the lake near the outlet mall, but she couldn't find anything she liked the day we went shopping so she bought her dress off the internet. Incidentally, my aunt and uncle are the parents of 5 of the cousins in the top photo.
This is my cousin, Lesley (mother of the bride), and her granddaughter, Violet. I personally think my Violet is cuter, but I'm a little prejudiced.
