The last time I was flying home from Portland, I noticed all these people in the airport carrying bright pink boxes from Voodoo Doughnut. Evidently, this is a popular tourist attraction in Portland. Since I always bring a treat whenever we have business meetings, I decided this might be something the others would enjoy. When I found the store, there was a line out the door (this was 3 in the afternoon, not Sunday morning after church). Their doughnut flavors are very non-traditional, which is probably what lends itself to their appeal (not to mention the excessive amount of sugar and frosting loaded onto each one). I got a variety of flavors as you can see in the picture below. Top-left to bottom-right, the flavors are Cocoa Puffs, peanut butter Oreo, crushed peanuts, Fruit Loops, bacon and caramel (yes, those are strips of actual bacon on the top), and bubble gum. I had the peanut butter Oreo, but it gave me such a sugar rush, I could only eat half.
