Today was foggy, cloudy, and rainy - a perfectly dreary day to go to the dentist, which, unfortunately, I had to do (filling replacement followed by a crown - oh boy). Yesterday, however, was sunny and 60 - perfect weather to get outside and celebrate a rare November day. I headed off to the Botanical Garden for some sketching. There isn't much blooming at the garden these days, and lots of flower beds have been pruned way back in preparation for winter, but I found a nice bench in the sun opposite the bridge in the Japanese garden. My sister took off to Las Vegas this week. I think that's a much more reliable way to guarantee warm weather.
