Nerinx Christmas Lunch

I went to the Nerinx Christmas lunch on Wed. I haven't been to this lunch in years, mostly because I'm usually out of town. This is a potluck lunch held in the gym. There was tons of food with tables of soups, casseroles, salads, and of course desserts.
The Nerinx teachers eat in shifts since the cafeteria isn't large enough to hold all the students at once. So every 25 minutes, I got to sit with a new group of people. Here I am during Freshman lunch,
Sophomore lunch,
and Junior lunch. By Senior lunch, I was starting to hit the fudge and Christmas cookies and forgot to take any pictures. The photo up above is Jane, the school principal, and Mil, the athletic director. Mil and I used to take the students on ski trips to Iowa together (yes, you can ski in Iowa, but since there are no real mountains, you ski down into a ditch - the slopes obviously aren't very steep).
This is my friend, Sharon, a gym teacher who also used to be my homeroom buddy. She has a daughter who also works in Seattle. One of these days, we're going to hop on a plane and go see our kids together.
