I'm taking an online class from Carla Sonheim called Blobimals. A "blobimal" is an animal made out of a blob. Needless to say, you need to have a lot of imagination in this class. One of the "warm-up" exercises was to draw a bunch of squiggly lines on a page with your eyes closed. Then you had to look at your page and try to find animal shapes within the lines.
The last exercise was to make a little tri-fold booklet with a hole cut out of the cover, and put some paint blobs all over it. I have absolutely no idea what the owl is supposed to be sitting on in the photo up above, but when you open up the cover, I turned the blob into a dog-bear... at least that's what it looked like to me.
