I've been having the worst travel luck the past month. First I get caught in a blizzard in Denver without a winter coat, or rather without a coat of any kind, since it was 60 degrees when I arrived. Then I tried to drive to Kansas City for a family dinner only to turn around in Hermann, because the temperature was falling and the rain was turning to sleet. In my younger days, I might have soldiered on; but in my younger days, the semis didn't outnumber the cars. Everyone talks about global warming, but I'm sure not seeing it in the Midwest.
