I went to the Christmas train exhibit at the Missouri Botanical Garden today. It is really breathtaking the way they nestle the train tracks and miniature houses among all the plants. About half of the exhibits used traditional red poinsettias,
but the other half used bright pink poinsettias. Some of the miniature buildings in the display are replicas of actual buildings that are on the grounds of the property.
They were also sponsoring a Christmas wreath exhibit. Florists from around the city made really elaborate displays that will be auctioned off later in the season. This one with the little silver fox was my favorite. It's hard to tell from the picture, but this wreath was almost 4 ft tall.
