Valentine's Day

I went for a bike ride to Rosemary Beach on Valentine's Day. It's a very "planned" community, built to look like a quaint European Bavarian village. It's not your typical Florida architecture, but it was a fun place to draw.
Normally, I tend not to ride east, because the community is a little too upscale for my taste. I tried walking over to the beach, but the walkway ended up at a locked gate. Luckily, someone was coming out just as I got there. When I looked out at the beach, I saw a row of perfectly matched, perfectly spaced umbrellas and chairs. I wonder if the beach police would run you off if you brought in a red beach towel.
I took an early lunch break at the Cowgirl Kitchen. There was an interesting dish on the menu called "miga." Underneath was a layer of grits topped with scrambled eggs, bacon, nacho chips, tomatoes, green onions, and creama cheese sauce. They also brought out warm flour tortillas to go with it. OMG was it heavenly, but I'm guessing it was about 5,000 calories. This is definitely not the thing to order if you're on a diet.
