Bruce and I celebrated the 4th of July by going to the Cardinals' game. Luckily they hit a home run in the 5th inning, so I got to see some fireworks. They had a rather unique promotional giveaway this time: patriotic Cardinals-decal socks. Even though it was close to 90 degrees out, some people were putting on their free socks before the game. I also noticed most of the Cardinals' players were also wearing their socks.
Bruce had on his Cardinals' shirt and hat, but he said he'd save the socks for winter.
