My Little Artist

I've been trying to clean out some closets getting rid of old projects to make room for new ones. I found some old math block activities I used when my kids were little (so these activities are really old). These are pattern blocks - different geometric shapes that you glue down to make interesting figures. I sent them off to Violet for a summer activity.
Some of the cards had the shapes already drawn onto them, like this bee. Her job was to match the blocks to the right shape. Other cards were blank, so you could make your own design, like this dog. I thought Violet was incredibly clever to add a collar and leash on her dog - you can tell she's a city girl.
