This week's entertainment at the Cardinals' game was a tribute to the Beatles, because it was the 50th anniversary of the Beatles concert in Busch Stadium. Obviously the Beatles were significantly younger at the 1966 concert than these look-alikes, the
Liverpool Legends from Branson, Missouri, but the music was pretty good. Most of the fans were aging Baby Boomers who sang and danced along with the band. The John, George, and Ringo impersonators looked fairly realistic, but the Paul singer was a disaster (let's face it - no one can measure up to the real Paul McCartney, especially the Paul McCartney from 1966).
Oh, BTW, the Cardinals beat the Padres 6-2. I think that's more runs than I've seen the Cardinals score in total all summer.
