Every year the people in my neighborhood get more and more creative with their Halloween decorations. Yards are filled with ghouls and giant spiders,
cartoon characters and pumpkins,
but the most popular decoration this year seemed to be gravestones. Almost every other house had at least one, usually accompanied by bones, skeletons, or body parts sticking up out of the grass.
I did my part by putting some mini pumpkins in my porch flower pots. If you turn them around, they are actually light up jack-o-lanterns.
But the cutest Halloween picture goes to Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. I love that Violet's got on heavy snow boots and Lincoln's totally barefoot. Guess they're prepared for our unpredictable Midwest weather.
