My sister and I have been in the mood to do a little home renovation. She's tiling her entire basement; I installed new mini-blinds in my office.
My sister's project was prompted by her basement flooding; mine was caused by my 10-year old blinds falling apart. She got her son to help her; I replaced my blinds myself.
Though I have to confess, since Home Depot still sells the exact same blinds, I didn't really have to do anything special. Since I was using the same hardware, I just popped out the old blinds and inserted the new, clean blinds. Janet and Michael will still probably be tiling her basement in 2018.
