Bruce and I took a hike on the Ozark Trail in Taum Sauk Mountain State Park. Taum Sauk Mountain is the highest point in Missouri, 1,772 ft above sea level - not really all that tall as far as mountains go. But the trail was really rugged - boulders, jagged rocks, and flowing streams everywhere. Even though the loop trail was only 3 miles long, we were exhausted when we got back home.
