We didn't make as much progress this week, probably due to the excessively high heat and humidity (at least that's my excuse). From the YouTube videos I've been watching, it sounds like the real hikers on the Appalachian Trail are having similar problems with the weather. At least we get to cool off in the A/C after a couple hours of walking. I actually made it to Indian Grave Gap. I'm sure it's a very picturesque spot, but there's no shelter, though I'd probably be creeped out sleeping in a cemetery.
