I'm already falling behind on this little activity and probably will have trouble sticking with it, since I'm going to be sitting in a convention center in Omaha for 3 days. I took Metrolink over to Forest Park on the 4th of July and painted the outside of their Visitor Center. It's a good venue for sketching, because you can take a break in their air-conditioned cafe. I don't think I realized how hot it actually was outside, since I did my painting while sitting under a shade tree. But when I started walking back home, the heat was excruciating. There were a few other hardy souls outdoors "enjoying" the park, but not many of us.
