July is supposed to be Watercolor month, at least according to the
Doodlewash blog. So in an effort to meet their goal of painting every day, I signed up for an online Craftsy class called
Urban Sketching in 15 Minutes a Day. The first lesson was on vignettes - painting quickie snippets of a scene. I mostly copied the instructor's examples for my first painting. Tomorrow I need to brave the heat and mosquitoes and go find my own vignettes. Maybe I'll try to paint indoors at the mall.
