I made a quickie trip to KC to see the progress on Melissa's new house, but like usual forgot to take pictures. I did manage to take one of Violet showing me her new bedroom. I think she's excited about it. When I asked her what color she was going to paint her room, she promptly answered "rainbow." I guess Jamie is going to have to get creative with the paintbrush.
Janet took a photo of us looking around one of the doorways. Violet is at that acting-goofy stage. I hope she doesn't grow out of it too soon (or ever!). She's almost lost her 2 front teeth. They're both loose and the new ones have already started poking through on the back side.
We stopped at Chick-fil-A for lunch (along with half of Independence - boy was it crowded!). I'd never been to a Chick-fil-A before, but the chicken strips and waffle fries were quite tasty. I think Cane's Chicken is still my favorite, but they don't have a play space which can come in real handy when I'm trying to talk to Melissa.
