The robotics season is over for 2019 - 10 tournaments in 2 months. Whew! Most of those events I ref'd with the same group of people. We were always introduced as "The Dream Team" - maybe for our good looks, but probably for the fact that we knew the rules backwards and forwards.
Many of the teams make little models to show off their projects and display at their tables. Rooftop gardens was a popular theme this year, probably because it's easy to find green Lego plates. But on Sunday, they should have made the entire model in white, because we got a couple inches of snow. We managed to speed up the schedule and get everyone finished by noon so we could head out and beat the traffic.
I decided to decorate the mini-figs I bought in Chicago with a Sharpie marker so they look more like referees. I think they came out looking really cute, especially Mini-Me.
