As a postscript to my
2019 in Review post, Bruce and I did manage to squeeze in one more hike before New Year's Eve. We climbed to the highest point in Alabama - a little under 2500 ft, but high enough for me.
And then we went to a New Year's Eve dinner... prime rib, YUM! And I even managed to stay awake until midnight. I figure once every ten years I should make the effort to ring in a new decade. Too bad I don't have my mannequin anymore, because I could have borrowed her flapper costume since we're heading into the
Roaring 20's.
