Normally there would be a million people out celebrating today with the sunshine and warmer weather, but when I took a walk down to the Loop, it was practically deserted. I literally saw only 3 people out in the 5-block stretch of streets lined with closed up bars and restaurants. But luckily I bought the stuff for our traditional corned beef, cabbage, and dumplings dinner before supplies ran low at the grocery store. Yum!
