City Hike

While Bruce headed off to Hawn State Park this week, I opted out of the 1-1/2 hour drive and went for a hike in Forest Park. I decided to drive over, since it's a couple miles away, and I haven't driven my car in ages. But when I got there, I couldn't park my car in the lot. Luckily I found an empty spot on the street.
There weren't very many people on the walking trails. For some reason (and to my frustration when I'm biking), a lot of the pedestrians tend to walk on the bike trail. On the one hand, I can see their point, because the walking trails tend to wander willy-nilly through the park while the bike trail makes a nice loop around the perimeter (I almost got lost a few times wondering where they were going). But it was nice not to have to worry about the 6 ft distancing rule. Evidently, a lot of people have been using Art Hill as an exercise spot, because they've beaten a path through the grass. I guess it makes them feel like Sylvester Stallone in the old Rocky movies if they jog all the way to the top. BTW, I'd like to say that's me doing push-ups at the top of the hill, but it's not.
