I'm becoming a Zoom aficionado. This past week I participated in 3 more Zoom meetings. On Saturday, I got together with Courtney, Melissa, Janet, and Violet. Unfortunately, I got so distracted getting everyone logged on (everyone was using a different device), I forgot to take a screen shot. But I made a face mask for my American Girl doll for Violet's benefit. And like usual, whenever I visit Violet, I tend to get her wound up, so toward the end of our chat, she started chasing Lincoln around the living room while holding out her iPad camera. I almost got motion sickness from the sway. It was fun, but I may try it next time with just Violet and me.
On Sunday, Courtney and I painted together during the Chicago Urban Sketcher meetup time. Courtney painted the objects on her dining room buffet. I painted my neighbor's back deck (it was what I could see out my office window, since I needed to be near the computer).
Today I had another bingo game day with my friends, only we expanded our group to 10 people. The bingo games went much faster with more people playing cards. Unfortunately, we had no way to do traditional prizes, so each person who got bingo got to talk for 2 minutes about what she'd been doing for entertainment the past month. Kind of a pathetic prize - definitely not as good as cash like the snowbirds gave out in Florida.
