I've been having one too many meltdowns with one restriction after another being imposed. Closing down the neighborhood and county parks (including the sidewalks and walking trails) really pushed me over the edge. Some of the state parks are still open with the caveat that they will close the gates if too many people show up. So we got up early on Wednesday and headed off to Meramec State Park. Luckily we were only the second car there, so the gates were still open. It is a gorgeous time to be out hiking, not just because of the nice weather, but because all the dogwood and redbud trees are in bloom.
