Social Distancing Game Day

A few days ago I was talking to my friend who is the athletic director at the high school. She said since the school's closed, she's been having online meetings with her coaches using Zoom. It's basically an app that lets you do online meetings or video conferencing with multiple people. So I gathered a couple of my gamer friends together and we spent a 40-minute session playing bingo (40 minutes is the time limit for the free subscription). I tried to find an online multi-player version of bingo, but since the entire world is on lockdown, the servers are overloaded with people playing games making it difficult for 4 people to log on at the same time. So instead, I called up an online bingo number caller and filmed it live with my iPad camera - a bit cludgy, but it worked. It was fun, but I much prefer playing with my friends all in the same room. Kudos to those teachers who are trying to teach large groups of kids with this method.
