Our Urban Sketchers group had their first in-person meetup since March. It was a beautiful, cool morning, so I met them over on the Webster University grounds. Everyone was supposed to wear masks and social distance. Most complied; a few didn't. We had a great turnout - about 20 people. But the large group made me a bit skittish about sticking around for the traditional show-and-tell at the end (well that and the lack of an available restroom). I'll be glad when the pandemic is over, so the fear of the unknown will go away (and public restrooms will be open again). So in the meantime, I'll probably stick to Zoom paintouts and the weekly Facebook themes from the Chicago sketchers.
