It's hard to believe that it's been a year since COVID hit the Midwest and freedom as we knew it ground to a halt. Grocery shortages, business closures, and stay-at-home orders became a way of life. Hopefully things are getting better. Most of my friends (the older ones) have been vaccinated. I even gave one a hug the other day (first time in months). Face masks have become a fashion norm, but I can live with that. Maybe next week I'll even head over to Great Clips and see if they can salvage my self-cut COVID hair.
