I called my sister today to see how her high school reunion went, but she couldn't talk because Jamie was doing a memorial stair climb to commemorate the 343 firefighters who lost their lives during 9/11. Janet told me that Jamie had to climb 110 steps in full firefighter gear. I did some quick calculations and estimated that to be about 69 ft or 7 stories high. Well later on, I found out Jamie and the other firefighters climbed 110 FLIGHTS of stairs - over 1,000 ft high. Quite a significant difference. I get exhausted just walking over to Starbucks. My nephew-in-law never ceases to amaze me. Way to go, Jamie!
