Summer Gardening

Even though the temps have been in the 90's, Bruce and I spent the weekend cleaning up the gardens. All the monkey grass has been replanted along the driveway and the river rock path has been relaid. The roses and the weigelia are really blooming (the drip irrigation system helps keep this little strip watered). We put down some new mulch (free from the city). Unfortunately, we've been spending hours cleaning up little patches of concrete left over from the redo. Tip to others: don't rinse off concrete tools in the grass!
