I went to the Extreme Treehouses exhibit at the Botanical Garden. All of the tree houses were built down on the ground (not up in the trees like you normally think of a tree house). They all had an eco-friendly aspect - either built from discarded tree parts or recycled construction materials. One was decorated with old Christmas trees (which obviously were very brown). Another was in the shape of a maze to represent the rings on a tree. All of them were surprisingly cool inside, especially given that the temps were in the high 90's this week.Saturday, July 23, 2011
