Every January right before Ground Hog's Day, we get a burst of warm weather. Since the temperatures were in the 60's yesterday, everyone was in the park in shorts and t-shirts - walking, jogging, throwing a frisbee, playing golf - anything to be out enjoying the warm weather. I pumped up the tires on my bike and rode to school (first time in a couple months). But as you can see in the picture, nice sunny days create long, dark shadows, which will scare the groundhog on Thursday and usher in 6 more weeks of winter. I've never known it to not snow in March. Oh well, I'll enjoy the warmth while it's here.

Early Spring?
