I had jury duty this week, and truthfully, I probably would have preferred having a root canal. I got put on a panel almost immediately for a murder trial, so for 8 LONG hours, the lawyers for both sides grilled us on our beliefs regarding the justice system. If I wasn't prejudiced before, I sure left there with a lot of bad feelings. Luckily by the second day, I was not one of the chosen twelve and so could go home to suck up aspirin, Ben & Jerry's, and a beer
