It's hard to believe it's been 35 years since we added Courtney to the family (I can't possibly have a daughter this old!). I got Courtney a book on watercolor painting. Bruce got her a new thermostat (he's the practical one). His gift comes with a weekend of home maintenance and painting; mine came with Ben & Jerry's, a movie, and a shopping spree at the J Crew Outlet.
