Game Day

Last February during the depths of sun-deprivation, I invited a few friends to get together for a game day. We played a game that Brian gave me for Christmas, called Splendor. It's a card & chip board game based on the merchants of the Renaissance. I thought it would be "easy" for a group of former math and science teachers to learn. Since that day, it has turned into a monthly outing, but it is never boring, because each time we play the game, someone always re-reads the rules and we discover we've been doing something wrong. It makes for a lot of laughs and silliness. I tried to take a selfie of our group, but my arms just weren't long enough to get everyone in the photo.
