I'm taking a new class at the Artist Guild called,
Monoprinting. Basically, instead of cutting a design into a block and then inking it, you paint ink right onto a flat plate and then run it through a press. It's called "mono"printing, because you can only run it through one time. To make another print, you have to paint on a new design.
The press we are using is pretty massive. I could probably skip my exercise class on Wednesdays, because turning the crank on that thing is hard!
