I took a quick trip to Chicago. I didn't have anything special planned, so Courtney and I spent some time outside sketching. While it was sunny, it was typical fall weather in Chicago - cold and windy. We started off sketching in a cemetery thinking that would be a good way to get in the mood for Halloween, plus the big stone mausoleums blocked the wind. But we finally moved inside to a Starbucks. It was just too cold out. I'm not ready for winter.
