OK, this may look like a really pretty rainbow, but trust me, most of the time it's been dull and gray around here. We've had to cancel pickleball games, picnics, and worst of all, bike rides. But I guess on the bright side, my new plants are certainly getting a good start this year.
Bruce has been able to get the back yard leveled out and all the rock moved into its final position. Good thing, because it's a mess to slog through all that mud. We're holding off on putting in the back yard plants until fall. For one thing, they'll all go down to half-price around August, which is a real savings.
The sun came out long enough one morning for the Bike Club to go on a ride on the Cherry Creek Trail. Luckily we all made it back before the afternoon showers (that storm included pea-sized hail!). I ordered a new short-sleeved bike shirt off Amazon. What an absolute pain trying to order something that fit. Chinese sizes are definitely smaller than American! BTW, our club is growing, but only 4 of us ride real bikes. The rest of those folks all have e-bikes. And look at the size of those tires on that bike on the right. He looks like he's riding around a miniature Harley.
